Some kids have to drop out of school because they are doing labor in farms. They always have to leave school so early in the year. When they come back it is late in the year and they don't want to keep falling behind. So they're like, "whats the point?" So they just drop out of school and keep working for the farms.
The MET people show them school work on computers and they tell them how fun it is because the teacher used to be one and he doesn't want the kids to go the same way as he did so he just wants them to stay in school and he doesn't want them out of school. If they get payed in school they don't have to go to labor.

Good - if kids are paid to work at *school* instead of in farms, then they don't have to miss out on an education. And, if WE demand higher wages for all the farm workers, maybe kids wouldn't be put in that position anyway!
